Wall panelling changes the temperature of a room. A fluted panel behind the bed softens morning light; smoked oak in the hallway makes an entrance of a corridor; a full wall of pale timber gathers sitting room, screen and hearth into one calm composition. Each scheme is made to measure and set out panel by panel, so joints fall where they should and the run finishes cleanly at ceiling, skirting and door frame. Built on Couteau’s own low-emission engineered board, it brings warmth and character to bedrooms, halls and living rooms alike, and is fitted — wall by wall — by our own teams.

Every piece is built on Couteau’s own engineered boards — particle board and medium- and high-density fibreboard finished with fade-resistant, water-based pigments free from heavy metals harmful to health, produced to a consistent international standard.
